Ethical Homecare is seeking a female Personal Care Assistant to join our caring and committed team in Leeds. This role requires a valid UK driving license and a warm, professional approach to client interaction.​

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with their daily needs, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. We are looking for a female care professional who is warm, respectful, and has a genuine passion for supporting others.

​

Key Responsibilities

​

  • Provide personal care and companionship in a dignified and respectful manner

  • Support clients with mobility, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks

  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families

  • Travel to clients’ homes across Leeds (a valid UK driving license is essential)

  • Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care

  • Female applicant 

  • Professional, reliable, and empathetic in approach

  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds including race, religion, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, and culture

  • Flexible and committed to making a positive difference

  • Willingness to travel within the Leeds area

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year in home care or a similar care setting (preferred but not essential – full training provided)

​

Shift Pattern

  • Shifts available between 07:00 and 22:00

  • Flexible hours to suit your availability

Contract Options

​

  • Part-time: 16–24 hours/week

  • Full-time: 25–40 hours/week
