Personal Care Assistant

You will be required to travel via your own transport between clients
Work and share experience with our team to get the best results for our clients
Help clients with day to day activities in their home
Assist clients with dressing, undressing, bathing and toilet needs
Help clients with mobility problems
Help promotion of mental and physical activity of clients such as hobbies, reading, writing and taking them out
Make and change beds, tidy rooms and carry out cleaning duties
Cook meals, serve meals and assist if needed
Instigate and maintain care individuals care plans
Take part in staff and client’s meetings and in training activities as required
Maintain home records as directed
Administer medication when assessed competent
Report all incidents and accidents
You will need to be sensitive to people from diverse back grounds to include race, religion, faith, gender, age, sexual orientation and cultures.
Listen and Communicate Well With users and can empathise with clients in a non-patronising matter
Health and Social Care Qualification Level 2
